OP
Aston is a shell and in that respect, all shell bits and pieces can be altered. However, it does not skin windows.

Thanks Crae, does that mean that, with Aston, parts of windows are still visible, or is it a total replacement. How flexible is Aston in terms of forms, like circles, ellipses, etc?

What I really want to try is something that turns the startbar into a self made shape, with animations popping up as you click on an item. Same thing with dropdown menu&acute;s and browsing the computer. That would be great fun. Basically, at the moment one is always working with rectangular shapes. Would DesktopX come close to this or Litestep? Or maybe another program?

DesktopX and LiteStep can do pretty much anything you want them too - it all comes down to your leet scripting skillz. <br />
