Have had similar mess since changing font sizes without Style xp as well. Happened inside IE explorer after applying normal xp themes inside which I adapted font sizes (these themes only worked with SP2 after using U.K. theme patcher hacking patch).

Inside explorer you can manually change font size, not the best solution. Firefox imports IE settings when installed for the first time unless you say dont import ANYTHING but you want the favorites, so, agghh. Firefox itself has its own manual font size change, again, not the best fix. For you - inside the themes you apply with your tool, adjust the font separately in each theme and save that. Try to always a keep an unmessedup vers. of classic and normal xp theme and style, though.

Sometimes I instead switch over to windowblinds themes which then allow in- or exclusions/per application settings. All of this is a bit of messy work but worthwhile if you really want to customize. Worst side effects from all of this came by my not realizing what it did to size of fonts etc. when UPLOADING WEB PAGES I designed using misset browsers. I regularly compare at Internet cafés and such to see what other people get and what I need to clean up at home including my settings. Still must apologize for side effects I dont always update correction of...

Occasionally I am so aggrevated I hit BACK to DEFAULT settings button and save in Firefox, IE, and other browsers. Effect does not take on till after COLD restart! (Loses in translation, sorry) ;) :car
