You might have to deactivate firewalls, antispy and virus programs. I had one version installed myself earlier, and later I used ICQ from trillian instead most times. The skins dont all fit the same version. Give us a link to the first 1 - 3 skins you want to use. Then we can see whether they fit your program. But first the program itself should work. And you must make an icq ACCOUNT. Which should mean you would get an icq no. sent by e-mail. Then you need to add some contact like a friend who also has ICQ. But changing skins should work as soon as you got the program installed successfully, if the skin matches the program version. There is a menu position for changing skins somewhere in the program window. <br /> <br />Easiest thing is to set up an account and be ONLINE when changing skins. But the skin has to be in the right folder. Maybe it was called skin folder. <br /> <br />Am besten erst Programm installieren und per E-Mail einen Account und eine ICQ Nr. beantragen, dann online gehen. Der Skin muß für Deine Programmversion passen und im richtigen Verzeichnis sein. Dann kannst du normalerweise im Fenster für Kontakte Skins wählen. Oft passen aber alte Skins nicht zu plus oder modernen Versionen. Wenn Du beim Installieren Firewall, Antispy und Virenschutz falsch stehen hast, kanns genauso schief gehen wie durch Microsofts Tool zum Entfernen bösartiger Software. Check ob plus eine Registrierung gegen Gebühr erfordert. Aber zumindest testen sollte gehen.
