Hi, <BR> <BR>I guess I didn´t read the rules good enough, and uploaded some skins that weren´t mine. A number of the skins I upload where mine however. These are : The Blue Skin, The Red Skin, The Simpsons (Adams Family), egnarO, Easy Blue and BuildOut. Is there any way these could be enabled again? <BR>The other skins are indeed generated by other persons (as you might have seen on the AlterCode site) and I posted them because some are very nice, and I wanted to share them with you all. It was never my intention to take the credits for any skin not generated by me.
I uploaded the skins I generated again, but now the application overview on the left says that there are 19 skins available for WhopSee while there are only 7 available. It seems that the 12 previous skins haven´t been completely removed from the database. Could anyone look at this ?

And just so you (and many others) know, here is a relevant piece of our privacy policy in regards to our upload policy: <BR> <BR>"By submitting your work to SkinBase, you also agree that you are the legal copyright holder to all said submitted works (or parts-thereof) or that you have permission from the original work´s artist. If a submitted piece of artwork is found to not be that of the submitting artist, he/she shall be responsible for any legal action that may arise due to copyright infringement. Not a good thing. <BR>Action needs to be taken, for sure, Koasati. <BR>And I´m sure that as soon as they read this, they´ll take the appropriate action. <BR> <BR>And while I´m not condoning the actions of the uploader, and I have no idea whether the choice for the feature was the action of one admin, or a multi-person choice (as has been done in the past), I think it´s a mistake that could happen to almost anyone. <BR>After all, it´s not a well known app. <BR>I checked around, and Skinbase seems to be the only major site having a section for it. <BR>And Admins are only human. <BR>The folks here that admin the site may be a little naive from time to time, but I think that´s because they tend to be on the optimistic side. They take a man or woman at their word. Sometimes that leads to disappointment, but on the whole, I think most of them sleep pretty good at night. <BR>:) <BR> <BR>If this sounds a bit defensive, you´re right. <BR>But it´s because I know first hand that the folks that run this place want to do the right thing. But they don´t feel the need to use a heavy hand to take care of every situation. <BR>:)

Well if no one mind I´ll take all the blame for this lill "blunder"! <BR>I do "get around" to the various skin/app sites and I have to addmit that I <b>did</b> recognize the skins from the Whopsee main site.... but only God knows why "the bells" didn´t ring when I saw them here on Skinbase.... <BR><b>/me</b> slaps :snow with the HUGE trout over and over again <b>pay attention huh</b>!! <BR>:snow
Even if they could. The admins cannot know all of the graphics site out there. So don,t flame the nice and Wonderfull admins (now can I have a feature skins :) <BR>Jokin! <BR>But this is why we call thissite a community so we do our part!

I know the admins here are a great bunch of guys, and am simply alerting them to to the WhopSee skins rips. <BR> <BR>What I meant by featuring an obvious copyright infringement is the "Featured Skin" on the main page is a WhopSee skin, with the Simpson cartoon characters........... <BR>Why is BAD to rip other skinners, but most turn a blind eye to this type of rip. <BR>a rip, is a rip, is a rip............. <BR> <BR>/me climbs off my soapbox..........and shuffles off into the sunset.
