I feel like I am opening the setup wrong it gets to 12 percent and then it says waiting for info... Or ,is that the way it works?
I get problems with all Corel stuff which is why I quit using it plus it is bloated software. In honesty, I would not feel good recommending it to anyone. As I said in my first post the best versions of Paint shop Pro are JASC Versions 7 and 8. :congrats ๐ ;)
Well most of my work is with Paint Shop Pro 10 it is a little how would ya say not user friendly but I got used to it and really like it As to your problem Sed try to uninstall and reboot then reinstall and see if that doesnt help
Also Corel has a built in clock that hooks up to Mother ship to keep track of ya use and time it is probally not working right so try a reinstall and see if that doesent help :adminpk
YEAH, Im using 6 and very happy with the limited use I put it thru... I will try to install.... If it doesnt go... Heck with it :congrats ;) ๐ ๐ ๐
I tried 9 and 10 and went back to 8.10 as the perspective filters were changed and botched in 9 onwards. I use those a lot and I have sent them notes explaining the differences and have never had a reply. I cannot see why they fiddled with them because they worked fine in 7 and 8. :sen ๐ ๐
I agree with Iain, I bought an upgrade from PSP7 Anniversary Edition to V9, and couldn´t find any changes that I would genuinely call an improvement... and when Corel took over the constant updates made it as fat as a Jersey cow. Even The Gimp is preferable to PSP as it currently is.
Personally I think PSP-X is more user friendly than Photoshop, more intuitive somehow. But maybe it´s cause I´m used to it and have been using it since the early beginning...
The thing is if the user has never experienced versions 7 or 8 of JASC PaintShop Pro they have nothing to compare it with.....I do agree that PaintShop Pro is much more friendly than Photoshop. I mastered that before Photoshop and took what I learnt in that into Photoshop. Each application has its edge over the other but Corel made a pigs ear of the good work JASC did. :congrats ๐ ;)
HEY mickie I think I got the down load info from U .... Did I miss downloading THE KEY????
From me? I know I recieved an email from Corel about it, but I don´t remember mentioning it online ´cos I wasn´t interested in it myself.

What I imagine has happened is that if you didn´t install the program immediately you only got part of the download because it probably needed to lnik back to Corel for the rest of the installation. What I do remember is that it was available for a limited period, so if the link has been taken down by Corel you porbably won´t be able to get the full porduct now. ๐ข
Bryce 5.5 from DAZ3D was for September only...dunno about Corel psp.... :,
Fact what I got from Daz free was 5.0 I think but you can then upgrade cheaper to 5.5 and forthcoming later versions but they got 70MB of free content I downloaded this week which turned out to be for STUDIO and poser, first of which might also be free. Pant pant - all this stuff to keep up with :brb

Corel looks medium affordable and medium powerful with good options for pdfing and more. Some things people share with text characters look like they need antialiasing but maybe thats just a matter of resolutions or correct usage. Seems antialiasing DOES come with registered ultimate paint, much cheaper but different topic. Or use Iains trick from other thread on that. :taxi needs more time but it is fun and interesting :)
