well in a couple of days I plan to start submitting my screenshots of my blinds in the screen shot section...It will include all the images necessary to complete the skin...anyone wishing to compile it may do so...just give me a little credit for the design...bugzOut...

Thanks :-) But if I can get this skin done and together that I have been working on for a while, I´m only trying for skinbase and like you said for the fun........ I think some of us skinners are going to be disappointed and upset when this contest is done and over with.I hope I´m wrong! I don´t wish to elaborate on my feelings, there just seems to be to much play on words in the rules and threads I have read....... But it will be fun if I can keep myself from feeling pressured, I have really bad nerves lol. I wish you all luck and in the end no matter what happens, we all remember it was "fun" and don´t give up :-) now me has to go practice what I preach lol

There is a way to close it. it´s says on it "fermer cette fenêtre" which actually means in french. "close this window" sorry it´s a french website. :) the other way to close it is alt+F4. Sorry about that!
zathrus, you must be using IE then, right?! Why don´t you give iNet-Tabs a try?! With this browser you don´t have to search the taskbar for the browser window you need (to close) cause it uses tabs instead!! Very handy!!! So even if you get a popup window without the close "knob" you´re still able to close/remove the tab! :) :) I´ve been using this browser for a very long time now and I love it! And yes, I did try ´tabs, (and liked it stacks), till I wiped and re-installed my machine, (not related to ´tabs... ;)), since then I´ve been happy with Opera, ´cept the Skinbase not working bit.... (seems that in opera everytime I click on a thread on the message board I´m re-directed to the front page). I will get around to installing ´tabs again, eventually.

The primary point is to make sure that people don´t just submit their old skins or just updates to old skins. So as long as it´s new as of January 1, 2002 it´s fine.

That means, although I may have some additional skins that may be used at the Olympiad, I don´t think LS themes will be considered in the competition. Correct? <BR>
The special SkinBase version of WindowBlinds does scrollbars.It´s the full version basically. <BR> <BR>I need to put together a tutorial on how I do skins or to name it aptly "The lamer´s way of doing skins". What I di now is actually draw up a mockup in Photoshop which has all the button states I am interested in on it, frames, scrollbars, etc. <BR> <BR>Then I load it up as a template image and assign it to various pieces of the GUI. I can literally whip out a basic but fairly complete UI in about an hour. SkinStudio handles all the button states so I don´t have to even think about that stuf.

BTW.. I´ve noticed a lot of skins of late don´t have Roll Up and OnTop buttons. Appart from eye candy, that is the most usefull functionality of WB for me. Please people, eye candy is all nice and stuff, but I will not download any skins that do not have OnTop and RollUp because I sure as hell ain´t going to use them 8)
