if the desktop x file you downloaded was a zip or rar compressed file and you open it and the theme is in pieces all inside, it means all you need to do is rename the file extention zip, or rar into the file extention desktop x associates with themes. it also works in reverse renameing desktop x themes file extention to zip will let you extract or add files to the theme. same with bootskins.
