what is the file extention of the downloaded file? if it was a zip and it contained lots of files like png, and tga, do not extract! Rename .zip to .wba ! some dx theme authors do this. I think to keep the newbs away.
Thats very interesting and useful. But why make a skin if you don;t want somebody to know how to install it? That makes no sense. I will remember that because I have had these issues. Thanks CA.
You have to input your own folder addresses, or the dx links wont work. You also need to know how to edit and make new links, add icons, and change properties, if the theme needs position adjustments, beacause of resolution differences. Newbs would pester authors to no end on <br /> ´ help me ´ requests. While this may not be the reason, it is a theory of mine. Dx themes most often have the authors folder addresses still in place. All this could also be an oversight in amature authors. <br />Sometimes the pixelated graphic´s are obviously culled from others work and are shoddy examples of amatures. :what
psst contractartist...... DX themes doesn´t use the .wba extension, it´s for WindowBlinds only ;) <br />Mentioning DX in relation with .wba files might confuse more than help. <br /> <br />Just a side-note ;)

Some windowsblinds themes do the same thing like .wba.zip just rename the extention to .wba :p
