Yeah, on 3.0 it´s display properties. That´s why I keep an older version in my bag (for those places where display properties are disabled :) ).
I think you need to actually purchase WindowBlinds before you can apply skins other than those packaged with the program? Not sure on that....
I hate reading fac´s pages myself, they always make it too long, rather then give it to me straight..... How about at the "Top" of the windowblinds skin page a short warning..... you must have windowblind program to use these skins.............. as far as needing the registered windowblind thats up to Stardock to tell their customers it won´t install new skins :-)
That´s do-able :)

Personally, I´ve never understood how people find their way to the WindowBlinds section (it always seems to be WindowBlinds) to download skins if they don´t even know what WindowBlinds is.

But I think chichigirl´s ideas is a good one.

To use the skins in this section you need to have previously installed the [insert program name] first. Find out more about it [insert product description page].
yup, very good idea
but then we would not have all Help me! Help me! post on the msg boards and get to tease the newbies! hehe

OPP, shouldn´t have said the "C" word in here. But if you actually got some help out of all of the above...are you in politics? :D
oh......... thats to bad you broke your windowblinds, maybe you need some crazy......... glue? or maybee goof off that removes junk lol
can anyone in here tell me how to apply skins to my yahoo messinger?
I´m asked that question all the time, so I have this written up. Just apply these instructions to any yahoo skin.........

How to install Yahoo Messenger Skin´s

All my skins are in a .zip format, so you must have a program such as "WinZip" to unzip the files................

1. Using your zip file program (winzip) double click on the "zip" file you are wanting to install.

2. I use the classic mode and I click on the button named "Wizard" and I don´t save it to my favorites folder........ and I click on the "next" button........

3. Check the box for "unzip or install from" check box, and then click the "next" button

4. Then click on the button named "select different folder"

5. Now follow your path ........ C:/Program Files/Yahoo!/Messenger/Skins/ and click on make a "new folder" and name that folder "exactly" the same as the name of the skin...... and then click on "ok" and then click on "finish" and your done...........

6. Go into your messenger now and click on "Prefrence" and click on the "appearence tab" and in the drop down window your skins are listed in there, chose the skin you want on ande click "apply"................... Enjoy your skins
ÿ
