Hi
I live in Japan with my Japanese (school teacher) wife......She took a quick glance and said they look like they are advertising pictures/examples of design etc.... for a very old Kyoto company selling traditional hand made to order Kimono clothing. She guesses they are about 80 years old. No idea if they are worth anything but at least this should get you on the right track.

Thanks. I also had a couple of art galleries respond and they say they are woodblock prints made around 1920-5, but they can´t make out the artist signature because the photos are so poor. I´ve asked my friend to bring the prints around to me tomorrow so that I can take some decent pics and hopefully get a bit more info from the text on both the prints and the packaging.

Kinda fun in a Sherlock Holmes sort of way LOL Maybe if your good Lady Wife has time she could take a look at the page again late tomorrow and translate the text for us?
