Actually it was my grandmother´s date filled cookies. They were so good. She made them so often that she knew the recipe by heart. I´ve been looking for one for years with no luck. I could go for a couple of dozen of them right now! ❤️ Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Funny you should mention peanut butter cookies. My Mom makes a great one... quite amazing! BUT.... as memory serves me... I would have to say my favorite thing as a kid was her shepard´s pie... always loved that! I always say to her when I moved out that I missed that. To MOM, I say :aw 👏 👏 👏

We ate the pie crust pieces after mom baked a pie from scratch..... She always made extra dough for that! I was 5 6 7 8 ??? LOL
