I know you said Santa Maria but the words Santa Barbara county brought back memories ...
ohhhh Santa Barbara - when i lived in LA we used to go to SB each summer for vacation (about 8 years)
and liked to stay at a place as you enter into SB just off the highway - forget the name now but it had
an all blue roof and was right on the beach and you could get a bungalow to if you wanted - met the
actor ( Lloyd Bridges ) one day out by the pool - they were good times there - we loved it ...
later one of my past jobs as a supervisor had me going to one of our shops there for visits so i
got to know more about SB - Nice ....
Santa Maria....Santa Barbara county....central coast of CA....will be living 4-6 months a year in Springdale Utah, right next to Zion N.P. and I love AZ
I grew up in the Finger Lakes region of Upstate N.Y.

Moved to Norway 16 years ago.
New Bedford, Mass. If you check out a map, along the eastern coast of the USA... that tip that sticks out in Mass? Thats the outer cape... I live about 90 miles west of that point. :Happy
looks like a few of you have a piece of Az in you , ummmmmmmm

and Richard you got better Casinos than we do ... love Las Vegas โค๏ธ

How come the move from LA to Arizona? Don´t mean to be nosy, but I am. โค๏ธ
I thought i´d never leave LA ,born and raised there , but then a Job as a District Manager over seeing 3 states based in Az - came up and i made the move ..
no longer with that job - but stayed in Az ..it´s nice here - I go back to LA from time to time , see the Smog and Traffic and it reminds me to stay in Az ..
much cheaper to live here too ... So now I just make everyone come and visit me when they can - they like the get-a-way sometimes ...
I have a sick wife ( stroke ) in a hospital here that requires my care and right now prevents me from working - so that is a saga still to un-fold to it´s end ..
I do miss the SC beaches and hollywood , things like that - as i used to be a studio locations scout - but for now Arizona seems to be the place for me ...
but now it´s time for the 100 degree days and higher electric (AC) bills but still better than that Smog and traffic of LA ....

So i think that answers your question ? ;)
Thanks for the info. Sorry to hear about your wife. Even though it´s HOT in AZ, I´m sure the cleaner air is better for her. โค๏ธ
I Am So Faaaaaar From You Mr.Az ๐ . cairo ๐
So AZ means Arizona dude! I got it now ;)

I am from Salonica, Greece :prosit
Greece an interesting place ..

About 2 years ago I had a girl from work went back to Greece for a family visit - took some photos and video ..
then brought it back for me to make her a 2 hour DVD of it ..... I had to did up more filler to add to the DVD
in doing so I kinda learned allot more about Greece than I new before .. the DVD turned out well and I got allot
smarter about Greece and the Music as i had to add a bunch of Greek Music to the DVD also ... it was pretty cool stuff....

Making Movies ( DVD´s ) is my specialty - more so than making these skins here at these type of sites ..... Az

PS .... It didn´t Win an Oscar , bummer ... ha ha .....
:Smile :Smile :Smile
Cool! :)
I know that making a DVD is hard work, I ´ve done a lot of them in the past... ;)
Cleveland Ohio for me... Tough people. Sports people. I dont know where Hartville OH is kittykat. I had an office in AZ yrs ago - I really loved it when I had to fly there [Camelback Mt area] DUDE. But Cleveland has SEASONS!! Gotta be tough to live here!

Dallas Texas...HOT.... ๐ . Born and raised. ๐
Cool... no pun intended. ๐ We were told the exact same comment, ( about the air conditioners ) last week from a realtor we are working with. I´m Marshall, and you? :Happy
trust me etype2 - you´ll love Az - and if i have any complaints from visitors
it is that their to cold most of the time , from AC´s going on everywhere and
the winters are perfect , my last car was a convertible - top down during the
winter and up for the summer ... more later :congrats
It´s a matter of money Sed. Social Security income, retired. $700.00 annual taxes in AZ., as opposed to $7000.00 taxes in CA. $140000.00 house in Az. as opposed to $600000.00 in Ca. Az has great retirement communties, lots of things to do. No school district, low, low taxes. Lived in central valley of Ca for short time. We had sustained days of 102 to 114 in summer. I known Az gets to be 125 in July and " cools " down to the 90´s at night in summer. We THINK we are prepared for AZ summers,we will see. :Happy
See Folks the trick here in Arizona is to just get a second job or hit
the casinos ( if you go this route - you have to win - of course ) so you
can afford the electric bill so you can run your AC 24/7 then all is good....... :congrats :congrats :congrats (he he)

it actually gets cold here in the winter ....
that first week in January is killer .... ;) ;) ;)
I am currently in Aurora, Colorado, but like Christine I got here through a long journey. Started out in Chesapeake, Virginia, then California, NC, Florida, SC, back to Virginia and to Colorado in 1987. Love it here and could never go back to the humidity back east! I have visited Arizona twice but don´t think I would want to live there. Too hot and dry for me! :Happy LOL :flowers
MARSHALL.... Read all the MSGs NO one but DUDE ---->STAYED! there :D :D :D
Born and raised in Milwaukee Wi; beer town, with a tavern on every street corner. :D Hated the winters, so moved to San Francisco Bay area in 1980. Still there, but looks like my wife and I will be heading your way very, very soon,AzDude. Nice to meet you. :Happy
