NextSTART 3 beta

Yup, Jorge´s been busy! There´s a bunch of new stuff in it.

And a little bird tells me that in a few days, there&acute;s going to be a public release of said beta... <BR>{:p

Well, lets see. <BR>First, you need to be a registered user. :) <BR>Next, you need to join the mailing list. <BR>http://www.egroups.com/subscribe/WinSTEP2000 <BR>Then, if I&acute;m not mistaken, you need to contact either Jody or Jorge to be added to the &quot;WS2K-Beta&quot; mailing list, which when you have joined, will allow you access to the betas, plus to any uploaded files in the file area (like a couple of NS3 themes created by Essorant and Gillon) <BR>:)

I signed up a while back, but haven&acute;t used it in a long time. Don&acute;t remember how to get there. Help me....... ;)

Wow , Nick - now you got me to thinking. <BR>Let&acute;s see. <BR> <BR>I purchased NextSTART while it was still a beta version of 2. <BR> <BR>Then I won one of the &quot;Winstep Software for Life&quot; prizes at the first contest over at Skinz.org. (how long ago was that?). <BR> <BR>Then I got to pre-alpha test Workshelf and ended up as the &quot;male&quot; voice of the talking clock module. <BR> <BR>And now if you guys don&acute;t hurry up, I&acute;ll be the first one to offer an NS3 theme here on the &acute;Base... <BR>(hint-hint) :) <BR> <BR>I keep trying to walk away from Winstep, but Jorge just keeps dragging me back with features I just can&acute;t refuse... LOL <BR>

Yeah, I think that I downloaded NextSTART and Window Blinds on the same day. It&acute;s hard to imagine the countless hours I&acute;ve spent on skinning and skinnable apps since then!! I wonder if Jorge has my first registration date...

Well, I have to admit that NextSTART was the first love of my skinning life... {:p

For the first time ever, I have a start bar where my systray sits in my right screen and everything else in in my left screen. So for dual monitor, this is just awesome!

Nikuki, you&acute;re perfectly entitled to stick with NextSTART 2.x, however you make us sound like if we are evil (TM) because we charge for a major version release. Go read the 100 Kb+ NextSTART 2.x history text file, it holds the 3 YEARS (!!!) story of countless FREE 2.x upgrades. Updates are great... but personally I&acute;m not paying another $20 just to upgrade. =&#222; on Winstep.
