There I was, Justa walkin’ down the street (minding <br />my own business of course) Singin’ Doo Wah Ditty... <br />Ditty Dum.. Ditty Doo.... when this guy stopped me <br />and asked if I knew where the “L” was... I was going <br />to say “between K and M” but quickly rememebered <br />I was I was in the striving metropolis of Chicago... <br />That toddlin’ town... So I pointed “up” to the <br />“Elevated” commuter line just as one passed <br />overhead. I couldn’t hear his response so I <br />continued, Doo Wah Ditty.. Ditty Dum, Ditty Doo... <br /> <br />I worked in the Big City for 16 years and can tell you some real stories about Chi-Town <br />or Chi-ca-go, Rush Street, or China Town... lake front beaches and Navy Pier... One bar <br />has peanut shells 2 inches deep on the floor. When I asked the bartender why all the <br />peanut shells on floor??? (No Pun intended here, /peanut779: ) He said they really <br />wanted to do it with egg shells, but they were too messy and stuck to your shoes..... lol <br />Can you imagine... walking on egg shells to get a 🍺 !
