Ok, to make sure everyone is on the same page... my interpretation of a sock hop is a high school dance after a sporting event, held in the gym on the basketball court.. therefore... shoes are not permitted on the floor.... Does that bring back some memories.... YES.... and that is putting it mildly... <br /> <br />Does anyone have any experience they wish to convey? I have several, only because all of the guys were bigger than me, so I would..... NO... I WAS... their interpreter... Hob... go ask that one if she will dance with me.... (A punch in the arm went along with the statement) By the end of the evening my arms HURT... but they had a good time... So they thought... I had a much better time... cause I got to meet just about every girl in the school... Most called me by name... and a lot of the guys never figured it out... Needless to say I had a very good time in high school...
