I´d like to see the last 5 news headlines returned to every page for example. So I know I haven´t missed anything. And it would be good if I could choose which sections to have open (or some other technique that allowed me to view the site faster). <br /> <br />And there are more features I´d like to add to the site, but gRAVE knows about them ;)

I would find it very useful if you could do the following: <br /> <br />Show the results of the poll in the Weekly Poll box after you vote, so you don´t have to actually go to the poll page unless to read comments. <br /> <br />Show them in order of votes, most votes at top. <br /> <br />Show which item you voted for by being highlighted or with bold text. <br /> <br />Show the number of comments the poll has in the box, so you can see if there are new comments since you last checked. <br /> <br />just a few ideers... nothing major. <br />

I also agree with the doing away with the categorized messge board, i know i dont´ even go to the message board page anymore, cuz they´re right on every page, i only go to start a new thread. Yesterday the site pages seemed ok for almost all resolutions/screens, today for 800x600 resolution, they are over sized 1 and half times larger than the screen, I only see half of the page unless I scroll way over to see whats on the right side of page :-(

ehh... this new message board layout is gonna take some getting used to... <br />i don´t like it i think... <br />/nikuki: wonders why some of the posts come right up to the edge of the icon and why there is more space around other icons... <br />the clicky emoteicons are awesome--the frame could bee skinnier so the text box is wider and there´s not unused space...

also i´m not big on the padding above the signature, the box w/ date/time/etc fits to the text but there´s extra space above the sig. <br />i don´t meant o be nitpicky, actually i do... <br />maybe it´s cuz i´m using insonmiax site skin... dunno... <br />jus´ tell me to shut up.

I absolutely love the new messageboard layout. As soon as the occasional icon spacing problem is resolved it´ll be perfect (to me). <br /> <br />I also love the way the signature is in the different section. It makes it easier for my feeble mind to seperate the signature from the thread content ;) <br /> <br />And now I can edit my posts it seems! :)

I think signature files containing spaces in them (like yours and Bugzlitey´s) throw the signature out of alignment. Try a signature file without spaces to test it if you want :)

The return of SMS would be fun indeed (not that I ever used it.. but hey! I think we need some seperaters in the message board. Things seem to run together. Details, signaters, and even posts themselves all seem to run together. Maybe it´s just me, but at least an option of it would be nice.

I see what you mean with the height differences there. I´m guessing it has to do with the overall height of the table containing the post, signature and stats. The longer the post is, the deeper the table is and the narrower the signature file row is. <br /> <br />I think if the post is at least as deep as the personal icon + text below that then the other rows should be fine. Less than that and they have added spaces to fill in. <br /> <br />I hope that makes sense. If I´m right, then I should have very little gap in my signature file for this post ;) <br /> <br />The smileys in your signature I have no idea about - but I still think all the spaces throw it off centre (I spoke to gRAVE about that). <br /> <br />

yeah, i see what you mean, it just bothers me... i can´t stand when things aren´t all <I>exactly</I> the same--it makes me nuts... <br /> <br />i don´t really care much about my sig... i prolly will change it soon... dunno... the smileys are just weird, cuz they weren´t always there, for like a whole day or two they weren´t there, and then today they were.

ok, brub told me to come here and say what I thought of the new things: <br /> <br />1.) It´s really hard to tell where news items start/end. I know that it´s the bigger text and line etc, but it´s still tougher to read <br />2.) I´d be nice for the comments to have alternating colors, sort of the same problem as above <br /> <br />I´m not sure if this was said already/working on or whatever but I thought I would say something :). When you press PROCEED in uploading it could change colors (Sometimes I wait so long I am not sure I pressed it!!!! :smile:

next skinbase would rule if it would be made in valid (x)html and with no table layout - skinned just by css. <br />and an ability to skin the whole layout with an alternative or even your own css would be really cool...
