No no no Snow, your all wrong! It is illegal in a lot (lets say,.. almost all) countries. But the solution for that is to host the site on a server in a country where they dont have these kind of laws,.. lets say.. Slovenia (not sure about that, but when you listen to gRave,. ieeww) then its ok :-) <br /> <br />Another thing: <br />Such a system would be very trival ofcourse. Who decides people to register? And for how long? And who will get the information? Sounds kinda like a black list kept behind the counter of a grocery store... I think that Idea would be virtually ineffective....because you can add 1000+ names to a database but not all will be real, and there are just too many possible aliases to keep track of. It´s kinda like stopping software pirating...it will never happen because where there´s a will, there´s a way...The concept however is cool... but until an international cyber police system is set up, I´m affraid all we can do is request removal, kick, and ban those not willing to respect the copyright of others...Yet, I´d rather deal with the kicking and banning, than be governed in the only place I can go to escape the rules of life...

It only lasts a few days, and the head admin can review, restore, extend, finalize, ect. A revoke feature could be used if you are worried a staff member may abuse it. Of coarse I´m not an admin here, so you really don´t have to worry about it. :D
