Community Skin project anyone?

Sylva, I can´t skin, but I´m looking forward what the Community Skin Project looks like. :) It must take forever to build CSP. ;)

I&acute;ve decided that it might be easier to just have everyone e-mail me what they want to skin. well actually no, me is head over heals in love w/ Mormegils Toony XP skin and skinned the hell out of my Pocket PC w/ it (spliced & diced that theme of his to death!) hehe <br />Wisbar, VoCalendar, Dashboard anddddd Today Theme made all my own stuff, course using his (I&acute;m a ripper) and now my fingers are blisterred and my nails are chipped! argh!!!!!!!! <br />no energy now for skinning for atleast another 3 years! hehe <br />But I will be nosey on what you guys end up doing for sures =)

nah snowy... knowing my skills, it&acute;ll be mediocre.... but at least it&acute;ll end up being a community effort. That&acute;s the important part. *s*

Ok guys. I&acute;m working on getting the web-space and mesage board set up, then I&acute;ll get the base images and the WB skin sent out so you can all see what we&acute;re actually looking at before you decide if you are deffinately in or not.

I&acute;d like to give it a shot by doing a QCD skin.

If i can find some time I may be interested, <br /> <br />Sonique2, MediaJukebox, or if you can&acute;t possably find anyone else I may be persuaded to do Winamp 3.

crazy girl every skin you make seems to get better & better & better you do really really good work... =) <br />and this is a good idea, I&acute;d participate but don&acute;t have the energy I basically only skin my pocket pc these days ripping everyone else work to shreds hehe <br />but g&acute;luck w/ it nice to see you around again too! =)

You can do the skins anyway if you still want to, but it won;t be under the community skin name. Xenu, good apps to start out on are quicknotes, beatnik, coolplayer, xxcalc, color pad, and I&acute;m sure someone else will tell you a few more after thay read this. *s*

Hold up, hold up, not so fast. Why did you cancel it? I can see two possible reasons: <br /> <br />1) &quot;I don&acute;t have the time to manage this suite&quot; - this is a valid reason. But if you can&acute;t manage it, you either should not set it up or find someone that can. <br /> <br />2) &quot;There is no support for it, the community is dead&quot; - this is bogus. Judging by this thread, I see plenty of people willing to participate. Unless ofcourse the majority chickened out.

It takes time to make skins. So much to do, so little time. *sigh* :| If the skins are uploaded & looks the same, ya can change the skins name. Am I making sense? Just a suggestion. Work on the skin when ya have free time.

I&acute;ll probably stick with the skin I allready started for the suite. It looked to me like we allready had 10 or so apps covered. Don&acute;t know why this was cancled so early.

cool idea :) i think i´d like to do a Rainmeter skin. would it be OK to do my own graphics instead of cutting and pasting? porting bores me, but i´m sure i can make it go with the overall flow.
