hey, now!

what´d ya think?

;)
Could you consider Chicago a Cleveland suburb? After all we have the Bears, Cubs, Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks.. Ok.. Ok.. Chicago is a little further than a suburb... But maybe you three could find it in your heart to annex us.. :)
hehe, see deep down inside, EVERYONE loves Cleveland! Even you, Orion!

❤️
ORION >>> ❤️ WE LOVE YA .. :) Dont worry about it !! :-D
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is here. Along with premier stadiums for the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, and Cleveland Cav´s.
everything bad I ever said
isnt the rock and roll hall of fame there?
could be wrong
but if it is I take everyyhing bad I ever said about cleveland
(o) <--- right back at ya, buddy!
(o) lmao
i had to, i have no self control :-(
heh, we´re probably the only three, bt that just means we´re the best three here!
Not a skinner, however, very much into customization. I am from Cleveland, now located in Elyria, Ohio (moved to Lorain County for a job and have been here since). :brb
After reading this thread... Chichi and I have decided to take a 2nd honeymoon!!! She has always wanted to see Niagara Falls, so when time permits this summer, we will see the falls from the Canadian side... btw. that´s the only way to see it.. We can cross the border in Buffalo, or the Peace Bridge or Detroit... makes no difference to me... :) I will plan a round trip anyway... :)

Soooo!!! All of you Ohioan natives.... We will be in your neck of the woods... Our trip is VERY flexible.. So if you want to show us Cleveland, Cuyahoga Falls or Northeast part of the State, we would certainly appreciate a guided tour!!!
that´s o freakin´ awesome, sed!
i never knew she still lived in ohio!
hey orion.. believe this or not, but it´s true... My sister lived in Wichita Falls, and has since moved to a northern suburb of Houston.. that´s a long way from Cleveland, I don´t think these Ohioan´s will annex those falls... he he he
Houston?
oh man
im soooooooooooo sorry for you!
Tell her to go to brownsville LOL :brb
gobersmootcher ( however ya spell it) I´d Luv to show ya CLEVELAND!!!! :o
Sed, I´m sure glad to hear that!!! Like I said, we can´t make it before the spring of next year.. As that time gets closer and if you feel the same, we can make some plans... :) Cause we WILL be making the trip to Niagara Falls... lol btw its spelled "goobersmoocher" lol lol

Hey orion, I know what you mean about the houston area... funny you should mention brownsville... My Dad owned a 20 acre orange grove down there.. Our family, almost moved to brownsville in the early ´50´s.. :) Glad we didn´t, I would not have met my wonderful wife, who is a native Chicagoan... lol
hey hobnobber, remember "brownsville station"? the band?
No, can´t say I ever heard of them... But I did see "Linkin Park" live in Dallas once... I still have the headache... :)

Know what I was told... The Cleveland Orchestra will be on radio this Sunday with a Christmas concert... I sure hope so 11PM CST so I will assume it is recorded and not live... but heck that will be ok with me... Maybe I can tape it.. he he he
Smokin in the boys room???
AND ON THE SUBJECT OF CUY FALLS ..... Singer Chrisie Hynde comes from there :,
I didn´t know that... Boy, it sure is a small world!! lol
yep, also Gates McFadden who played Dr. Beverly Crusher on Star Trek The Next Generation grew up in the falls and graduated from Falls high!

hob, i´d love you show you around the falls, and it would be alo a uniue opportunity to meet other skinners in real life!

definitely let me know when you have the dates of your trip!

btw--- looks like it´s gonna be a white christmas here!!!!!
I figured the Falls to be a small town, but never knew it had so much talent.. :) I am a Trekkie at heart and wished I could find a Dr. Beverly Crusher to write my prescriptions!! lol lol

I will be sure and let you know when we are ready to finalize our plans.. See ya then!! :)

Lucky you, all we got was a dusting of snow.. but just enough to give that Christmas feeling... :)
You will LUV THIS... ❤️ " Beverly" is married and lives up here!! in a suburb of CLEVELAND :o and as much as I love Fairlawn and Cuy falls .... Well, The "CAPTAIN" is 5 miles away from ENSIGN... "SED" NO LONG DISTANCE PHONE CALL! LOL
Sed.. :) if its just a local call for you.. Please call and find out if she is taking any new patients... lol lol If so make an appointment for me!!! lol lol
Goober ... I raise funds for LOCALcharities (AND... she and her hubby have helped us many times ! :o Gives me chills to talk to her .... WHEN >>... she is in town.. ❤️ She is in California right now ... I´ll get ya a picture, IF ... I can :o
Funny... We listen to a lower CANADA station ( CANT RECALL the number from ONTARIO) but it comes in crystal clean ---- ONLY AT NITE----:o
Funny thing about Cleveland browns... There IS a Browns fans chapter in Chicago !! and one in Florida that I also KNOW is HUGE .. :o Any other states out there with a BROWNs BACKERS CLUB???????????????
:-) Cleveland DOES rock :jafo
B4 I retired I did a lot of traveling in Ohio... Spend a real good amount of time in Euclid. Even spent a few Sundays watching the Browns... in the old stadium of course... I enjoyed the Cleveland area... But.. I liked Cincinnati too... lol
Euclid used to be very nice. I haven´t ventured there within the past few years - do remember spending much time at an aunt´s home there as a kid. The City of Euclid named a day after her for the work she did with the APL. :-)
I live in the East suberbs here about 20miles from Cleveland :-)
Don´t forget about rhe Cleveland Museum of Art and a world renowned Orchestra :)
Cleveburg I sometimes call it.... the East Superbs like Euclid, Willoughby , Mentor , Kirtland ---- Can´t be beat :) This CLEVELAND thing is getting kinda cool :smoke
At the time I was in Euclid, Lake Erie was so polluted, no one really wanted to do any fishing or do any water sports... I understand that the politicians all got together and solved these problems and now is full of water sports, even considered a fisherman paradise!!! I take my hat off to all of you Ohioan´s! Job well done.. :)
Gothicspell... We get an FM radio station 98.7 here in greater Chicago land, for the most part classical music and I have the opportunity to listen to an orchestra from Cleveland.. Maybe, could be, one in the same.... I enjoy listening to this one and another from the Detroit area... Great sounds.... Very relaxing... :)
JAimZ .... Voinvich hgwy can get me lost .. :o I have friends down in Cincy... :)
hey, hob, the cleveland orchestra is suppossed to be #1 in the world right now! i bet you would love to come here and hear them play live!

i´ve never seem them in serverance hall in cleveland where their regular season is, but a real treat is to see them play at Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls (where i live ;) ) Blossom is an outdoor amphitheatre built especcially for it´s awesome acoustics!!! i also work there and could possibly score you some free tix in the summer--if you want to drive all the way to ohio! heh
I´ll take you up on that offer nikuki.. Cuyahoga Falls brings back a few memories.. LOL couple of hundered miles is no problem, and I would love to see and hear them in person :)
heya! i live in cincinnati and my gf lives in cleveland. i´m about to move up there though, so i think i go ohio covered pretty good
ohio is awesome!

anyway..

hob: when were you in cuyahoga falls, what did you see????? that´s so cool, i grew up here! it sure has changed in the last ten years...
nikuki: One of the foremen on the job lived in the Falls... I was invited to his home for dinner and meet the family and their friends... and judging the personalities of the people I met there, left me with a lot of fond memories... This was during ´73 and ´74.. I have no idea of what it is like now... but I know a lot of cities have changed, some for the better, others for the worse... either way, it can´t change the memories I have of them :)
I used to work in Cuyahoga Falls - right down the street from the Cathedral.
as falls Witchata so falls Witchata Falls
