Yes....keep away from hacked and patched OS kernels....you are seriously asking for trouble.
Obviously NTLoader thinks that the hacked Kernel [bootscreen] is a different OS to XP.

Boot into XP and delete the program....or do a system restore.
There are better ways to modify the startup screens than system hacking...;)

Ah c´mon Jafo, bit of an overreaction there... hoopy_1888, locate a file called "boot.ini" directly at C:\. That´s what ntloader reads at startup, and that´s what stylexp uses to give you the options. You could change timeout, and default choice by pasting a line that´s beneath [operating systems] - whole part of the lines that´s before the "=" sign. You can also delete an option, but I´d think stylexp would have an option to start with modified screen as default, and/or edit this file (haven´t tried the beta) ?! Check the options ?

yeah what´s wrong w/ hacking & patching? it reminds me of a good Indian Jones adventure you never know what to expect next when you reboot, all exciting and everything!
(course it´s always best if you have a back up 2nd machine if you blow up the other one) hehe

NTLoader sees two lines in the boot.ini under [operating systems] and thus gives you a choice between the two. Edit the entries for "timeout" and "default" and you should be home free.
