I´m just the village idiot, so I´ll be taking advantage of it... {:p
crae the news guy ripper... hehe
Oh, and if you need a tester for the site, let me know. If I can´t screw things up, you´ll know you code is rock solid... {:p
sounds like a wonderful idea, long needed. <BR>i´m in for anything you think i am capable of, so i´ll just disappear to save myself the embarrasment.
well damn that is a good idea, don´t really know what kinda help I can offer right now but, I support it 100%
This sounds like an innovative idea needed to take skinning a step further. I can´t wait.
Just posted the news on a couple of dev sites where skinnable app coding has come up in the past. Will try and do more later.
This sounds like a great idea. Not sure I can help in many ways int, but I think that providing an environment where skinenrs and developers can co-exist with the intention of helping each other must be a good thing. <BR> <BR>I´d love to see the old kinda interaction we had going with things like Colorpad and Coordpad.
Thanks for the positive response all - though I can´t take credit for the general idea, a few of us were going to do something similar a while back, but it kinda fell through. I´ve just picked up the baton and started running again :) All the offers of help are appreciated, and things are going well.. <BR>Thanks for that redlar, i havent really got any dev´s contacts at the moment, so anything you could do would be a great help :)
integer, let me know if there´s any promotional stuff you need or any other help. <BR> <BR>8|p
Thanks Brad - if you could just compile a comprehensive list of all freeware skinnable apps, with links and descriptions, I´d appreciate it :) <BR>Seriously though - I´ll decline your offer of help, but i´ll accept the "olive branch" that it represents - for the time being anyway.....
8|p Well I could help on the list of freeware skinnable apps. When you´re ready, just drop me a note and I can make sure it gets mentioned in our news letter and such.
Not much to report from the dev sites. I´ve hit about 10 so far. Plenty of page views on the few sites that post that info, but no replies anywhere.
/me goes post news on Tek
Thanks for that Redlar, I appreciate it.
Int: you may want to contact Elad Rosenheim from kewlpÄd fame. <BR>He´s released a lot of VB skinning code to the public (I´m studying it for an idea of my own) and seeing that he´s been so free with info, you may get some help in that direction. <BR>
So, are we getting any closer to a release?
/me posts in integers stead, as he is no doubt slicing his way through the code as we speak. yes Mr. Elwin, yes i say! <BR>int e ger! <BR>int e ger! <BR>int e ger! <BR>pand...er... <BR>int e ger!! <BR>int e ger!!
Things coming along nicely :) <BR>Redlar - Ive tried to mail you via a couple of email addy´s but they dont seem to get through. Could you get in touch with me please? :) <BR> <BR>Thanks
Woot! ( I cant believe I just said that ) <BR> <BR>www.skinnables.org is alive :)
...and just in time for X-mas!! w0000t! 🌙 <BR>Looking good inty!! <BR>:snow
I´m not saying that damn ´w´ word. But good one! :)
Thanks - just like to say credit also to Dork, Plastic, Redlar and Virophile - it´s their fault as much as mine :)
Umm, it seems down dudes. What´s up?
Well I´d like to help too but from the sounds of it the <BR>site´s already up and running. Is there any thing I <BR>can do to help?
Well...I´ve done some beta testing of skin apps in the past...so I guess this is yet ANOTHER site for me to hang out at...;)
Well, now that I´ve had a chance to poke, prod, tinker and in general try my best to break things, I find Skinnables.org "Extra-Primo-Good"! <BR> <BR>I give it 4 jingle bells! <BR> <BR>{:p {:p {:p {:p
That´s an impressive rating! I´d be proud of that ;)
Umm, those are eight bells...
