uh oh.... I´m almost affraid to ask you this question. Wblinds 3 will not skin yahoo messenger at all? If I add it in the inclusion window, then all my windows won´t skin! Please tell me I´m wrong........
1) Then it´s definitely a bug in WB. Will have to fix that. Sorry! Very few WB skins include icon packages these days. We´re trying to get people to move to convergence for that sort of thing. <BR> <BR>3) Any chancey ou could send me a screenshot of what you mean? That might clear things up (bwardell@stardock.com). <BR> <BR>4) It could be that Yahoo messenger is in the exclusion list. Check in there and see if it is. Then if it is in there, try removing it to see if it works okay. I´m ont sure why Yahoo messenger would be excluded.
Im going to uninstall this new wblind3 and reinstall again, just to see if that would make a difference... <BR> <BR>2. This new wblind3 came with only 2/exclusions (persfw.exe and illustrator.exe) I added 2/exclusions myself (powpanel.exe and zapro.exe) so there are only four exclusions in the window and No scrollbar lol. <BR> Like I said above, if I add yahoo messenger to the "inclusion" window, then NONE of my windows skin. <BR> <BR>I will send you the requested scrn/shot but first I will uninstall and reinstall wblinds3.... I guess I have hopes :-)

It will NOT save the setting, I uncheck the box and apply, I close the window and then go back in and it acts like a "default" setting it won´t stay unchecked...... <BR> <BR>3. ummmmm you know when you have any window open, a icon shows up on the "taskbar" and these icons will tell you which window is active too..... it is no longer skinned in "shape" but only in color, like my icons buttons etc are bowed, like barrels, thats what I mean by shape of the button, only the color now. All other buttons are still skinned in shape and color. Thanks for the help :-)

oh..... to my knowledge there is no langauge as of yet to make a skin for wblind3 (xp) features ?
I wouldn´t know that scarebear myself, maybe some one could answer that for you, I myself do the coding in the "uis.file" my self, it seems a whole lot eaiser and more flexable for me......... builderblinds/skin studio drove me nuts he he, If I can help you out in any way just email me :-)
I thought I´d hijack this thread and ask if the skinstudio program allows you to skin WB3? I´m considering trying a WB skin.
I am W98sec and also OD user, and the configuration window is just that, save settings in there but does not apply choice of skin any more, and now have to use displays box to do that...... thats what I mean by "strapped" now to two boxes....... I see no "new" features in the wblinds3 for W98sec people other then described above. Sorry to say but its more aggravating to me, and then to loose the feature of skinning my yahoo messenger, you should be able to "add" an inclusion on a program with out being strapped to loosing all other windows not being skinned and now that you added an inclusion your strapped to only using that feature from now on........ I agrre it ran faster but "lost" important features, me dissapointed, I love wblinds 2.2 Enhanced
Hi. I got your email and passed it on. We´ve been kind of comatose since the launch (we´d been up nearly 24 hours per day for the 3 days before release). Slowly recovering. <BR> <BR>You have the full version of WB don´t you? You can manage skins from the enhanced WB config area. <BR> <BR>Much of WB3´s effort was targeted at Win98/ME users - it uses far less memory and resources than previous versions on a typical system.
hmmmmmm since I haven´t gotten any feedback, I uninstalled wblind3, I need to get my work done and wblinds3 has to many problems. Not only the yahoo messenger not skinning nor the taskbar buttons, but when I´m in paint shop pro all the menu buttons blink on and off, weird. I also feel that wblinds3 was directed and favored for windows XP and the rest of us got the back seat so to speak :-( using the "displays properties box" is a nice feature but then were also straped to the configuration box too........ that is a real pain having to use both! I also see no big ta do over the big changes that windowblinds 3 was suppose to have, unless those features were also for only windows XP........ oh well ya can´t say I didn´t try........
