I´ve never heard of it until now. It looks pretty cool, but it´s a 3.66 MB file and the site says "Windows95 and Windows98 users MUST upgrade their system to DCOM 1.3 (or higher). You can download the DCOM upgrade from Microsoft for free: [about 1MB]."
It´s stupid that the specs are avialable upon request only.

Crae: You´re a reporter - you´re supposed to give us the scoop... :P
hehe Elwin the Evil at work again ;)
Btw, the player is quite nice actually! Good sound quality. Got some nice GUI features, like sliding "drawers" for diff settings etc etc...
Supports alot of audioformats.
But it´s kinda CPU hungry compared to WA/Coolplayer though!
I find it curious though that there is this skinnable app, which has seem to be around forever and no-one has ever heard of it.

And I´m the news ripper, you´re supposed to send me news!

/me goes kick Elwin, ´cos that´s what people do with Jesters
Oh yeah, download file size is partially because they included some Visual C runtime libraries (you know, the msvc60.dll stuff).
P.P.S. Aren´t you supposed to be over at Custo refereeing the fight?
I´m sure I saw somebody sneak in a bag of rocks...

:P
You´re right.

/me goes check if the fire is still burning
After trying to download it (´cos it supports Vorbis) +/- 5 times, I´m going to through in the towel. Looks nice though.

"deli_130.exe is not a valid Win32 application"

GRRRRRRRRRRRRR. }:(
Umm, it seems you need to have some special files (which youcan find on their site). Anyway, I myself haven´t tried it yet, ain´t got no soundcard here at work.
hmmm Horse of a d/l and missing files & the need to upgrade your sys to DCOM 1.3 or higher
maybe that is why no one wants it?
|||

dp was used by millions of computer users by 1995. old ppl know this. :)
Then it was called Delitracker. The delitracker UI/skin (or in those days ´layout´) was copied by many audio software programs.... on the PC the closest ´Delitracker look´ ie retro Amiga styl´ee was modplug. But Winamp grabbed the stick and ran with its familiar Delitracker´ish layout....better Winamp than M$oft.
DT was the A1 player on the Amiga.. and still in use.
don´t know if anyone would want to cloan its PC layout ??. Looks a bit whacky now .´¬)
can someone make a smart hifi rack look for it plz :) I am not using any of its skins at the moment.
Wow! Very informative indeed. We should add that to the description we gave it here. It´s better than what we said :)
I bet the Snowman´s got a handle on it...
;)
