By muck spreading, I meant perpetuating this little episode, not mistruths - most people seem to have put it behind them. Can´t we just leave it at the relevant sites? Integer, I specifically ascertained from a site admin here that it was OK to post my email communication, and expressly verified that it could/would be removable if deemed appropriate. It is not ´muck spreading´, it is legitimate, genuine communication between a Custo admin on one hand, and myself on the other. I can attest to its authenticity, that it has not been modified and/or edited in any way, and is a true and accurate description of cause and effect culminating in my departure from that site, where I had been a member virtually since its inception. Grim, maybe you need to delete this now. It seems reality bites...;)

Here you go... /me sticks fingers in ears, and closes eyes....;) Fernando, I thank you once more for your prompt actions in removing my work as requested. May I say again, that I can respect miriku´s decision to delete the submissions he considered to be advertising. I have little issue with that. It was simply his repugnant attitude and a blind inabillity to comprehend that he was abusive and insulting. When issue was taken with that, no apology was forth-coming, merely a statement that he is as subtle as a train wreck, or some-such analogy. I have been a skinner and themer as long as anyone, and longer than most, and respect fellow skinners and themers just a little more than Edgar is capable of [apparently]. I know he is unpaid as an admin, just as I am. I know he has strong opinions, just as I do. Please believe me when I say that it was a ´bad day in the life of Jafo´ when I felt compelled by the immature actions of one person who purported to be the ´voice of Customize.org´, to remove my work, including LiteSTEP themes which were publicly and admin-wise very highly rated, and standing proudly beside the likes of ´Thug Life´, [a classic of themes]. BTW....some ´all-knowing newbie´ at Custo said they had not even ´heard´ of Grimspoon.....Sad, that....when at Litestep.net Grimspoon was the second-highest downloaded themer.....with MASSIVE popularity. I know my stuff was always to put it politely ´a niche popularity´, but honestly, Renato, Johanne, Helder, and Jerry [Grimspoon] between them, are very, very influential members of this ´community´, and if you are unconcerned with their departure from Custo, and believe that nothing has/will change, you may be sadly mistaken. People/artists/skinners of their calibre is what makes the skinning scene popular and desirable, not the magnitude of a flame war posting on a message board. I would have loved dearly to have just seen Edgar respond...."Sorry about the wording, Renato, et al, but I could not accept the submissions". The whole load of crap would have ended right there. You cannot honestly stand there and defend Edgar´s rudeness and lack of tact. You cannot stand there and defend his refusal to apologize for a poor choice of words. If you think you can, and you believe he is totally ´right´ and has done NOTHING to be ashamed of, then understand clearly that that is why I am forced to leave. I was a skinner long before Edgar was in a position to abuse his authority, and I will still be a skinner long after he has moved on to clear-fell another community with a poor choice of words. You may call him ´cool´. I call him a ´prat´, and a poor choice of admin. I honestly am at a loss as to why some of you are compelled to support him blindly, no matter what. He, himself admits that he is only human.....just get the child to admit an error of judgement, and blame it on his humanity. Good luck with both yourself and Customize.org. I wish you both well. Technically speaking, electrons are not particles, but more like a cloud or shell surrounding the protons and neutrons (check your quantum physics). One of my existence theories is that this entire universe of ours is actually just one particle in this or another universe. Or the other way around, if you were to zoom in on paricles here, you´d find that those particles consisted of entire universa.

The earth is round? Sorry - you don´t fool me that easily - Ive seen maps, and they´re on flat paper. Side Note: Have you noticed that our solar system is in a similar format to a single atom? (Electrons orbiting a nucleus) Could this mean that our solar system is actually a single atom in a huge structure? Dunno about you, but that makes me feel pretty small.... phew... I thought you were going to ´delete his ass´ snow ;p My View On Internet Commercialization. Internet stands for _freedom of expression_ , some folks misunderstand that as freedom from commercialism, prosecution, morality and even evolution. I have also encountered a lot of ´angst´ against skinners that want to make a living doing something they love, especially from some sites that have forgotten the fundamentals. Before we had Microsoft, there were bunch of guys who started hacking their computers as a hobby, thanks to the ´commercialization´ of their ideas we all can now enjoy the benefits of what they have achieved. I have personally never been a part of any ´scheme´ to make money out of my skins, nor do I plan to. I don´t spend enough time doing it to justify the effort, but ´honestly´, if someone was crazy enough to pay me money to do more of what I love, you think I would wanna go and face another client over the counter again? ... I don´t think so. I am also a great supporter of free apps and have used LiteStep since ´98, but doing anything on the Internet these days costs money, and throughout this year I was trying to find ways to turn some aspects of my hobby into a profitable pastime to pay my bills, yes I do pay my own. ;P It is to early to tell if any of mine, pixtudio or even new thirty4 skinz.org plans will work but it´s worth supporting them cause ´everyone´ stands to benefit from the exercise. I can´t believe that some sites will have pop up adds thrown in your face, advertising totally irrelevant and annoying products and yet have turned their backs on the idea of advertising ´non free´ products of the very content they collect.
