Can not edit 1st post, so me again although I know bump is unnecessary and posts here are well responded to. Keep in mind: In the wall and photo section, comments by ourselves might be helpful enough. But there are so many different skinning subworlds, the limited amount of active users can not give the technical feedback especially pure downloaders and inexperienced user can provide us with. This makes a skin foolproof and shows you things we ourselves are to political or friendly to say ourselves. Plus none of us will always have time for APPLYING every technique and its skins ourselves to give feedback to skinners using different applications than each single one of us can be into ourselves at once.

So what help is only the staff liking only the preview? Well, it is help. These people are experienced from several viewpoints including the site runners, the PR specialists, the users and in most fields very advanced skinners view. Yet the better they are, if they even think about private life in addition to all their obligations and official hobbies normal active or passive members do not have, they sometimes and least specialize in what skinning field the updates of which tools they concentrate on, next step down comments by active uploaders who are not staff, though. These groups all know "how to behave", even to well, in fact, hard to say where the border is, and also often run and watch many sites, cannot always apply the latest species of each skin types update. The best to have is at least also the majority of the downloaders, some of which skin but dont upload, and some of which just apply. We are likely to be on an upload under most circumstances policy with almost no major restrictions before submission, which was very good and vital to me and others for many reasons. The answer to my questions might not be necessary to post publicly, message box may be better than comments anywhere. Yet I am publicly asking so as to reach more readers with my question than just the hard working staff. Not point collecting artificially which contradicts my goal.

I must admit I hope I am a minority and this is only crucial for new skinners and I can trust the download stats. Currently everybodys being polite is just as helpful. If a non registered user really has a problem or question related to why my skin does not work for them, will I ever find out? I just hope things are ok if there were no complaints. If the staff is included in the download stats which I think, correct me if some of that is wrong, that does reassure me a bit. But I dont know, are they boosting me or applying. They dont even send negative feedback to my message box, which they might not have time for or think appropriate.

That is why normal downloaders not skinning much may have more time to apply and compare and comment even 1 of 10 skins, which may be rewarded one day but limited, so we know they are not cheating for rewards. Reward does not mean money, maybe advance in user level. Or maybe someone could test, a thing to be avoided though, moderation before submission. Maybe random checks after submission but including TESTING the function of the skin. Then how could we reward the tester? I know free ways for that, whats unfree is changing the whole site for that.

If my question should instead be how to encourage more people to turn into active skinners, tell me. I might think up some ways for that and sneak them in myself bit by bit. It might just be u sometimes dont get nonskinner comments until 3000 download, sometimes it looks like that elsewhere, then I comment and say thanks, mostly I also have tested that skin then. In my days before I was more afraid to register free some places because of spam and felt whom I to judge a skin. Only when uploading skins myself am I beginning to realize that probably was wrong, which might also explain some of it. I have much time, I hope, too wait. How do u advise me on behaving in the meantime?
