Logons are either in the format of a logonui.exe file, often with a .jpf preview in a small size for programs like logon loader etc. to at least temporarily replace your logonui exe showing the microsoft welcome on startup after the bootscreen leaves (all of this is not the SCREENSAVER which can but does not have to be active on startup). <br /> <br />Or, more common around here I think, a .logonxp file which you can then load and apply inside free program logonstudio by stardock. <br /> <br />Or, you find a folder sometimes in a zip containing a theme ini and some bmp files. Then move that folder under the name u want, like halloween3 or whatever, to the theme folder of the logonstudio program as a subdirectory. After that is done, you call up the logonstudio program and see it inside your theme list without having to load or import it. <br /> <br />Style XP can also coordinate not just which logon is applied by logonstudio or style xp, but also which clockskin, player skin and more. But you do not need style xp at all if using the other methods up above. In any case the steps above should follow first, rest is optional <br /> <br />You might have seen an important helpful chatpost by Boss019 meanwhile - this approach often applies meaning it then is the only right one: Or you can rename the .zip file to .logonxp and then click on it.
