I´m not positive, Peakay, but I believe that the contest has been extended.

Yes, the contest has been extened due to the lack of good ´print´ quality subs. We also have to wait until the new year to resume normal PixelPrintz publishing operations and the matter will be reviewd then.

We will also be holding GFX ´clinics´ throughout January to help newbies grasp the concept of print quality digital art and publishing procedures.. stay tuned for date announcements on skinbase news.

So, would .png´s be best for this or bitmaps. I have the bitmaps but I can converet everything over easy enough...and also is 1280x960 at 300dpi still the right size?

+0: PNG format is preffered option for large image web transfers.. however the best quality is still Bmp or Tiff.
... and yes, that resolution should be the minimal requirement, however 300 DPI is the key to output quality reproduction no matter what desktop resolution you are working on.
