About comments

I have always viewed critique this way. It is not my position to state an artist has done something wrong in their artwork. The image they created was designed and worked up by them so they are fully happy with their creation at the time of upload. It is for me to appreciate and partake of their willingness to share that work with me. As an artist with some years standing if I need help in an area I can always ask another artist. As an artist I am always open and willing to share my skills and knowledge with others. I would never be so presumptuous as to find fault in anothers art. I have an option to either like it or not like it. To comment or not to comment. I tend to encourage and emphasize experimentation through play. Have fun with art and enjoy it. It is as you say a good outlet for expression and as such is very personal. We could all view being allowed to view someones personal expression as an honour and not as an opportunity to find fault in it......it is not an obligation but more of a choice.We all have an obligation to consider others and respect them and to think how others may feel about the comments we leave. How would we feel about our own comments if we were in the other parties shoes? Are we being helpful or just picky? One other point I work on is that perfection is not a requirement in art. I am only seeking to progress. Nothing in life is perfect and art is a reflection of our lives.I hope I have made sense and been of some help.....be good and be well.

Life is a journey, and so are the works we make. In those journeys we learn from each other by exchanging experiences. Question is, are we willing to learn from others and take on board experiences we haven´t had ourselves? The ones who want to progress in life will, lots of others are destined to repeat history.

Gee, Not much more to say other than photos bring out what the artist sees as views he feels as balanced and touching and moving to the artist himself. What WE get is a view to his soul. ❤️

Well put sed ,and if you take that concept of yours, it is a privilege to be able to share that view with the artist.

Yet no skins without images, and they also belong here and bring in great interaction and variety. Plus we have more sites of our own, i. ex. basehead for wallz, completely redesigned, also quite successful. <br /> <br />Skinbase sites are growing, so in the past and future there is a lot to look back to or forward to. One motto here was and is the FRIENDLY touch. But what can that result in? A LOT. Of course everyone can say HOW they like it to be productive. Personally, I think the passage in the article I linked to about the FRIENDSHIP trap is interesting for some sites in the future. It&acute;s on the differences between all of us, that we can grow as a exceptional comunity of people for whom art can be unvailed in so many forms and sensibilities. And make no mistake that, when I talk about seeking perfection, it is our &quot;own&quot; perfection, the perfection that lies between ourselves and that, in my opinion, we should pursue until we are fullfilled. I also think any artist worth his or her salt will willingly lend assistance to those who need a hand up the ladder of skill. If we take a minute and think,it is likely all of us have recieved help or inspiration from someone. Encouragement goes a long way to ensuring the process of progress and cements the ongoing interest in the field of artistry. If we were a bunch of grumpy old tightwads we wouldn&acute;t attract many newcomers...now shut up and get twizzling...time is money or something...bah! Humbug! }:( LOL
