OP
Wow almost sounds like interaction from the new WindowFX version which mixes up the old scripts. But probably the new alpha blending in WB is active somewhere. Maybe at the Stardock Forums u can find out more (best access to forums from SD central download mask if you are registered). ☕

Are you using skinstudio, wb or Style XP and some other skinning tool. Sounds like u hacked with U.K. theme patcher just like I did for normal windows themes. That changed my default font sizes unless I manually reset them in each theme but that was not your problem. The glowing lights I only knew from WB
Nah, I´ve gone the software free way - cracked uxtheme.dll and editing .msstyle´s

I don´t have any skinning software installed.

@ Marios

They didn´t pack a CD busy cursor with it - unless you make your own, you´re gonna have to live with it.

They might be helpful around the 3 Stardock forums, JoeUser, WinCustomize, and Stardock even if this is not a question related to a tool of theirs. Some friendly capacities around there, nothing to loose by asking, generally response is good. :Smile

I fixed that by making the shadow color different. I used stylebuilder though, so i dont know how you do that in resourcehacker. I didn´t even need to add the attribute "shadow" before getting it to work. I also had the system tray problem of turning pink, I think i fixed it by changing my image from a png to bmp then erasing the png out of the folder. Sorry for the vague advice, i don´t remember the steps exactly.

Yeah, I´m all good with that sort of stuff - Thanks anyway

I think I´ve found the problem - except the solution is buried somewhere inside the msstyle.
The Luna Silver theme has a black shadow for the background - so I may have to go to the huge job of copying over the images from within the ´royale´ part to the ´silver´ part.

I think I´ll just live with it.
