from what I´ve read you can fine-tune your image with some option in skinstudio ..
something I should try with some bootskins I made and came out with .. euhm .. horrible colours
I have a question? Is this a bootskin you made or is it one you downloaded?

The reason I ask is that when I first made Bootskins I had allot of trouble with the progressive bar
And when I put it up on computer it look Like………. Well let’s just say very bad.
So Please if you would let us know if it is one you made and if so which program are you using to make it and the progressive
😎 thread. So glad you are keeping bootskins alive! Yeah, my bootskin program shows build 1.05a obviously the same one. I tried making some bootskins in the old days of mine with skinstudio which had comfortable settings but my results - oh, well, something to work on. Need to develop a sort of 16 color rainbow THINKING. But Captain America inspired me the other day with his work processed in Photoshop Cs2 I think. Maybe on my next PC I will get that tool and retry things with a new graphics card etc. Using bootxp 2.5 the results were a bit better, but it said my kernel was not supported for putting the progress bar where I wanted it to be.

Which is not true, because there ARE bootskins to download which have it in all kinds of positions and it works on my laptop. So manual editing or other tricks SHOULD work. Skinning still is a challenge... :fun
