Here´s an update on this one... it was featured on a satyrical program on the BBC last night so I got to find out a bit more about it.

What you didn´t see was that the journalist started her piece by announcing that AppleCore had won their case in the High Court ( wrong! ) and she then intorduced the guy you see. He isn´t a cabbie, but is in Fact Guy Goma who had shown up at the beeb for a job interview as an IT manager... which puts a new light on his reponse to the question "with regard to costs involved do you think that more people will be downloading online" which was...

"actually if you can look everywhere, see a lot of people downloading to internet, then the website, everything they want... but I think is much better for the development to poor people. What they want is a way so fast they is looking for." Which ain´t bad considering he has just spent the last year teaching himself English.

Weird thing was that after his response she went on to ask him yet another question! Maybe they´ll take her off air and give her the job of interviewing new job applicants.

Guy Kewney had apparently met the floor manager of the show prior to this event so if you look at a picture of Guy on his webpage at ~
http://www.newswireless.net/ ~ you´ll get some idea of how surprised he was to see the fella on the screen being introduced as himself. As Guy is quoted as saying "I´ve got blue eyes, fair hair and skin so pale it makes my dermatologist wince".
