Widgets/Gadgets

I´ve asked Greg to add this category to the Desktop Shell. As soon as he is at his home computer, he will. Thanks for the suggestion Richard. ❤️

There´s a place set up by wincustomize desktopgadgets.com I think. But it doesn´t seem to get alot of traffic but I may be wrong... :Happy

It is OK to upload gadgets instead of widgets in Skinbase dear Richard :) <br />I have seen gadgets in widgets section at WinCustomize also. No problem :Happy

Gadgets are exactly like Desktop X widgets except you don&acute;t need Desktop X on your computer to use them.. With widgets you do.. I also think the files are a little bigger... :Happy

I&acute;ve found gadgets and Aston don&acute;t go well together. :( Presumably the gadget has trouble distinguishing the wallpaper as opposed to desktop and so it disappears all the time ( the alternative is to set it &acute;always on top&acute; which is a bore ). I had a similar problem with Sysmetrix after Nick rewrote the code for the transparency settings.

It&acute;s not your fault Richard 😂 just an oddity with Aston that I&acute;m prepared to live with so as to keep the shell and system I&acute;m comfortable with. After 5 years with a shell you get to be like an old couple.
