Poor baby Gerry. Time to buy a new keyboard. Some are very cheap you know. Coffee in the keyboard, that sounds familiar. ❤️
Time to buy a new keyboard. Some are very cheap you know.

...ehrm, it´s a Laptop. ;)

As far as I know, you can´t make a keyboard shortcut for that.
1.) instead of having keyboard replaced in laptop which is not always cheap plus in the meantime you dont have it and who knows what happens to your data etc. - hooking up a 2nd external keyboard is better anyway at least when you are at home. These are cheap and very programmable. However, they want one of your primary USB hubs unless you get an old PS2 keyboard which is less desireable. Meaning you cant just hook up a good external keyboard to any hub connected to the laptop, it wants direct connection.

If Photoshop has a command line parameter for the nudge, it can then even be a HARDWARE key.

2.) shortcuts inside some programs are explained in a free tool KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS you can google for. This is not for photoshop but interesting anyway

3.) program KeyText (free version sufficient for this purpose, time unlimited) vers. 2.25 makes keyboard shortcuts for all kinds of things. Even if Photoshop does not have a command line parameter to assign, it can send the mouse around clicking, double clicking, dragging automatically inside your photoshop window and more.

Currently they are developing a beta before releasing 3.0, if you give them feedback a registration key for permanent usage is easy to get.

Macros containing mouse actions have 1 hitch - your window must always be positioned exactly where you tell the mouse to go. Changing skins etc. makes it tricky. Fixing window positioning works with another tool - actual window manager is one of them (by actualtools com). But there are more tools like that.

So best thing could be to check the forum or get a support ticket for Photoshop to find out the command line parameter if there is one.

Unless a second keyboard is good enough anyway. :brb
thnx lads, taxi that gave me a good idea, windows has a virtual keyboard I can use..hee hee

Cheers
Of course, I´d forgetten windows On-Screen Keyboard ( programs, accessories, accessibilty, O-S Keyboard )
Tx for research, mickeblue. Wow. Right on topic. Glad it seems fixed one way or another by now 😁
