Well Fred, at this moment I´m no leaning toward nothing.But true contenders are the Nikon D200 or D80, the sucessor of the Olympus E1 wich will be due mid/end this year and the inevitable Canos EosD40 - I even do not know if Canon is going to release such camera, just guessing... On the other hand, the new Pentax K10D is a camera that is also on the race. But with Nikon, you cannot go wrong my friend :Happy |O|
Well, I was thinking more like the D40. I have read excellent things about it. I am looking for more options than the point and shoot style offers, but I simply cannot spend big dough at this time. I am looking for the best bang for the buck. And the Nikon d40, at $599.99, seems to be it. <br /> <br />Perhaps I´d go one up from that one... or even wait to afford more... but I do really like the Nikon brand and story very much. Feel free to let me know your thoughts.
