Antje, believe it or not...your present made me laugh, just because you made &quot;bullseye&quot;.During an whole year, I was studying, experimenting and reading all about semi-pro&acute;s/pro&acute;s DSLR&acute;s and yesterday it was a tight call between the Pentax K10 and the D200. Although the K10D is the best camera in its price point -I have no doubt about this - tne difference of 1000 euros for the D200 is in my point of view, justifiable, as Nikon has - allways had - a complete and robust system behing their cameras, whcih is reassuring for myself. Also its construction justifies the price difference .I also have for years an excellent Nikkor 85mm - 1.8 autofocus that fits like a glove on the D200.Besides, I am so used on handling Nikon cameras that I feel at home when handling the D200.But make not mistake: my decision was made during my night sleep...after I received your present...and after Teresa told me: &quot; If you buy something that does not carry the Nikon brand...you&acute;ll sleep outside.&quot; She&acute;s very emotional about Nikon - I am not - and you cannot imagine the fuss I&acute;ve made when one year ago I bought my &quot;Canon powershot S80 &quot; . I did not slept outside...but almost did. Many thanks my sweet friend ❤️
