I wish I knew first hand what Linux and all the other OS´s were like. I have never even seen any of them in action, no one I know personally has them. I would love to get away from windows though. :Happy

Then get yourself an Ubuntu live cd (download it and burn it to a cd), stick it in your machine, reboot and you can experience it first-hand (without having to install anything). <br /> <br />http://www.ubuntu.com <br /> <br />I tested it on two new machines and the only hitch was the bloody wifi. On this ancient machine, however, it was a different story. But regardless, it´s a major step forward in usability compared to my previous *nix experences.
