I´ll simply say again that my sensitivity / awareness of that around me has drawn me to be a photographer. Why only pass it in an instant, when you can preserve it for a lifetime?

|O| |O| |O|
I´ve started photography as an hobby back in 1972 - I was 15 years old - as I was always striked by the beauty of a "frozen image", which is captured not only for its beauty but also as a mean of sharing moods, feelings and life itself. Besides, the true "click" in me for photography, happened when I was 13, after a " black and white darkroom session" with a friend of my parents, the late Professor J.Marques da Silva, a great portrait photographer and fierce Nikonist ( these words were taken from one of the pages of my site.) |O|
I took my first photo when I was around 13 years old . My dad let me have the last exposure on his B&W Kodak instamatic land camera.
I had made a model Rolls Royce car and decided to make a background for it out of old lino tiles. I laid down on the floor to get a good view and took the picture. A few moments later the picture was in my hands. It almosy looked real if a bit out of focus.
That was it I was hooked.
Actually, I do not consider myself to be a photographer... an amateur picture taker is more like it.

:fun 👏 🍺
Seriously I think I picked it up when I was 14... I had a Polaroid One Step instant camera. No quality there, just fun... I always clicked photos but I am only seriously into now for about 3 years. Its only the last year or so that I think I have gotten better at it.

Just a little more on my history... OK - OVER AND OUT. |O|
Funny that Fred you spend years taking photos and all of a sudden it all clicks into place.
I think my idea of what makes a good photo has also chaged. When I was younger it was all action shots and people now I´m quite happy to let a small detail fill the frame.
Well, your work speaks for itself Brett. Top notch quality. :aw
