Community Suite

Community skin suites rock. <BR>I&acute;ve been involved in the past and they can be a lot of fun. <BR> <BR>2 things needed to have a successful community suite: <BR> <BR>A set of Base graphics and color sceme that will appeal to a wide variety of skinners. <BR> <BR>1 person that will head up the operation as a leader and coordinator, from start to finish. <BR> <BR>{:p

I&acute;M between Achromatic and BlueTech

:grave is away for a few days. I think we need a good default theme for Skinbase as well as the skin suite. I think the BlueTech site skin would transfer to skinning best. <BR> <BR>Maybe we can generate all new graphics though. An upcoming Skinbase competition perhaps?

So when do we start. Does anyone know if grave is aware of this. Also I would like to point out that I came up with the idea. a few hours before I read the Tek article on it read it at http://www.teknidermy.com/news/toc8.php <BR> <BR>for the suite. Everyone just need to go to my gallery page to see what I do. I&acute;ll do anything once at least when it comes to skinning. <BR> <BR>Now who do everyone suggest for graphics. Scare hd a good snow had a good idea to create a Skinbase suite. I mean, LOS had theirs. What is the default Skinbase theme? <BR>

Don&acute;t worry BruB: When it happens, I&acute;ll be there. <BR>What I usually do is wait for others to grab up all the popular apps, then look around for the apps that nobody wants, and work on those. <BR>(I hate to see the little proggies miss out) <BR>{:p

Of course, I won&acute;t be involve to do a skin suite. I&acute;m looking forward to see what the suite looks like. :)

Who would be interested in making a Skinbase suite then? Meeee!!!...but, I&acute;m not even close to being one of the best and I can&acute;t seem to pull my head outta my @zz...so I guess that makes me a bench warmer...i&acute;ll contribute with my ideas...bugzOut!!

I don&acute;t mind heading the thing up. But my name is not knowned enough in the skinning community. So the project would only get some seriousness with the name of Skinbase attach to it. We also need :grave permission I guess. <BR> <BR>We need the best graphics guys and gals to make up the graphics. we could have a page put up with all the applications to skins and people would be able to choose which one they are skinning. I&acute;ll ask :grave to add this to the news . If one of the admin can add this to the news it would be nice also. <BR> <BR>So who&acute;s with me!

BlueTech looks alot like something that I&acute;ve been playing with for ControlBar. I&acute;ll drop a base image in the BaseBin tomorrow and see what you think.

We have been talking about it and we are thinking perhaps an all new site skin which we could then make a ski suite from. That&acute;s the plan anyhow ;)
