I tried clearing the cache at least 40 times just now... and at each instance, there is an image there that simply will not load... it vanished after a split second each and every time! Refreshing the page, clicking "update"... it all lead to the same results. |:|

For Firefox users:Please go to Tools > Options > Web Features/Content (Or Similar) and under the section entitled &acute;Load Images&acute; click on the exceptions button and make sure none of our servers are blocked. In addition make sure only &acute;Load Images&acute; is checked and not the box &quot;From the original website only&quot;. Also turn off your firewall temporally to see if this resolves the issue. <br /> :Happy

This is starting not to make sense to me any longer. I will not shut my firewall off, not even for a second. I upload work here with no problems. I always uploaded avatars with my firewall up... the difference was we were under the old SB. This new version is the culprit, pure and simple. I am throwing in the towel on this one. Its simply not worth my effort any longer. The main thing is that I can upload work and comment here. That is all I care about at this point. Thanks again. :Happy

I believe that it is Richard. They are both the same thing. Another thing that is the same is that both yours and mine seem to not want to display here. I see a red &quot;x&quot; on both of ours... |:|

Gregor and me made some test changing avatars/personal icons and there was NO PROBLEM at all!!! <br />I wonder why this is happening to you?

Nikos... I have been updating the first option &quot;personal icon&quot; all the time... I just tried again, and the one that you folks uploaded is still there. My picture has always been there, I have not touched it. This has turned into a mystery that I am no longer interested in exploring. Thanks for the help, but I DO give up!! :brb

Personal icon and <b> 50x50 pixels </b> Fred! It took me 10 seconds to change your avatar!

I am going to explain myself one last time and then I&acute;ll leave this one alone. I have fully complied with all that you have said. Over and over. I have re-sized my avatar to 50x50. I only have used the &quot;personal icon&quot; option as I stated above. You have an ability to change these avatars, and for some mysterious reason I do not. Nothing has changed on my PC since the time I was able to upload avatars here. So, I am at a total loss to explain this. Tried renaming and different formats but stiil no luck, oh well..

I finally got one to upload by changing to a .gif. It went up the first time I tried. Sorry you guys are having such a problem. I know how irritating that can be. ❤️

I see two other members that display as a red &quot;x&quot; Auline&acute;s and Kenneths... all others seem fine. Thanks for putting my picture on mine. I still an unable to change it, but at least I have something up now. :D

Well then...try this. If you previously uploaded a jpg avatar,change it to a gif or vice versa. Png should work to. You could also make it 49x49 pixels. Changing the name,the format and the size might fool the server. Every time I uploaded an avatar or personal photo,it did not show up until the second or third try using the above described procedure. If this still does not help,then I&acute;m at a loss. :Happy

Mikelly and all, if you have trouble re-submitting your Avatar,you have to try the process twice. <br />I had trouble,so after the first try,I refreshed the page and re-submitted a second time,then it showed. :Happy 👏

Well, I cannot get this to work at all. I hit update, a image seems like it wants to appear then it vanishes. I have repeated the process several times. Its OK - no big deal. Looks like no avatar for me. 😮

sed you find it under Edit Profile-Additional Information! :)

The size should be 50x50 pixels, it is very important!

Hi Nikos. I re-sized to 50x50. When I upload, there is a brief time when an image tries to load then it vanishes. I&acute;ll try again in a few days with another image. Thanks.

If you continue to have trouble uploading your avatar try this: <br /> <br />Click on the upload button without adding a file. <br />Go to the main page. <br />Hit the refresh button. <br />Now re-upload your avatar. <br />Go to the main page. <br />Hit the refresh button. <br />Re-upload your avatar a second time. <br />Go to the main page. <br />Hit the refresh button. <br />Still no avatar?...try this process one more time. <br />Still no avatar?...Then try renaming the file and re upload. Sometimes fooling the server with a new name will fix it. This has worked for me in the past. <br /> <br />Hope this helps. <br /> :Happy 👏

...try clearing the cache by clicking on the submit button without adding a avatar file and refresh. Do this repeatedly, 5 or 6 times. :Happy 👏
