You are right. This is one of my highest priorities. Get the grey scale,gamma,color temperature set as best you can. A good grey scale will yield the best color reproduction. Correct gamma,will help eliminate banding. If the color temperature is to high,your screen will look blue,to low,it will look reddish. <br /> <br />I have been lucky to have a good quality monitor,18 inch,1600x1200 since 2002. But it is time to move on. Looking to get a pro 24 inch 1920x1200. <br /> <br />If one does digital artwork and wants to sell it,essential to have the best quality one can afford. :Happy 👏 👏 <br /> <br />Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

Always helpful hint ... It matters also when you are working high res wallz. I zoom so close sometimes that the color HAS to be what I am seeing, Ya Know/!!!! 😎 👏

Unfortunately the last couple of links are dead Artur. ATI Radeon users can download Catalyst Control Center ~ http://ati.de/products/catalyst.html ~ which will allow monitor calibration to within an each of its&acute; life LOL
