Oddly enough, the tension that came up between sites seems to have brought everyone closer together and things are moving forward very well now. <BR> <BR>I think all the judges are trustworthy and will play in good faith. I mean, it&acute;s mainly for fun afterall and the goal is to have a good time, support your favorite sites and possibly win something for yourself at the same time. <BR> <BR>For the summer GUI Olympics, what we&acute;ll probably do is find people not affiliated with anyone to act as judges and only have 5 of them. <BR> <BR>And in the &quot;When life gives you lemons, made lemonade&quot; category, be recusing myself, I had to find someone to fill my shoes. I talked to Dr. Theo Mandel, preeminent UI designer into being one of the judges. The computer you are currently sitting in front of? The GUI on it was designed based partially on his design - Windows and OS/2 both use CUA &acute;91 as their basic user interface design which Dr. Mandel was one of the authors of the CUA (Common User Access) document for IBM and Microsoft.
