It seems that the newer LCD monitors work best when set at the "native" resolution stated for that particular model. My Samsung calls for 1280x1024, while my newer 22inch calls for 1680x1050. I would definately like to see more input here as I am at a loss as to what sizes are popular anymore. 1280x720 is a new one for me! <br /> 😁

Never too busy for a good topic. I have a 15.4" laptop and its default wide screen resolution is 1280x800 That 1680x1050 is right on the money with a larger, 22 inch monitor. I am not sure about sizes in between but i believe they should be 16x9 dimensions. Hope that helps. 🍺 :Happy

Some of these screen sizes need to go the way of betamax. Many computer users including CAD users, graphic artists and video game players run their computers at 1600×1200 resolution (UXGA, Ultra-eXtended) or higher if they have the necessary equipment. Other recently available resolutions include oversize aspects like 1400×1050 SXGA+ and wide aspects like 1280×720 WXGA, 1680×1050 WSXGA+, and 1920×1200 WUXGA. Yea I forgot to put in the 1440 x 900 sorry! I´ve seen alot of those monitors, but I still believe a smidge wider is the direction. Any way we´ve only found out we´re stuck on what should be the norm, narrowing it down will come with time! :magic
