Well, if it wasn´t for dumb luck, I wouldn´t have any at all! I attempted to open my wallpaper folder on my computer last night and since I had it set to thumb view, it took forever to open. I decided that since it was over 2 GBs in size and since I could get copies from here or Wincustomize, it was time to clean it out. I deleted a lot of stuff and emptied the recycle bin! In order for me to reupload, I would have to download everything from WC. That would take a long time and a lot of patience and then to turn around and reupload individually here! This is such a bummer to have this happen to you folks. I never was able to upload my personal icon and finally had Nikos set it for me!
I know how you feel. I lost a hard drive last year. It was the one I stored all my work on and the work of the wonderful artists here at Skinbase. I lost all of it. I, too, looked to Skinbase to store it for me. I am sure that Nikos and Greg will get back everything they can. We, again apologize to all the artists for this unfortunate event. Like I said, too many idiots. ❤️
Is it just the screenys that have gone missing or the entire file?
OK... I put up a couple of oldies and I will do so from time to time as well as add a new one here and there.

So how far does this attack go back? What a bummer!Can I just say,and I don´t want offend anybody,but I personally do not use Skinbase or Deviant Art or even Basehead to store my art.I back it all up.Good news though!My girl typed my user name(BluesFan63)into Google and a lot of my work is showing up from Skinbase!Some of it is not in my gallery anymore,but I´m able to view it and even download it through Skinbase!?I know.I´m confused also!Try it and let us know.Good luck.
Hi Blues. On my part it wasn´t anything but laziness. I didn´t intend to use Skinbase as storage, I just didn´t ever get around to downloading it all again. Definitely my bad not Skinbase´s. I´m sorry kchristine,I didn´t mean anything by what I said.I know the potential for lost artwork by other members here is staggering compared to my 20 or so pieces.One of my college professor´s points was to ALWAYS back up your work.A hard drive has moving parts,and is subject to failure at any given moment.That being said,I searched Google under my Skinbase name and was only able to recover a few pieces dating as far back as January 2006.Some I could recover,some I can´t.
No offense taken at all. Just explaining my laziness problem. I checked Google too and just couldn´t find anything that didn´t say "page not found". But you know, we will all get over this and move on. I´m sure we will all come back better than ever. Keep on uploading Blues! ❤️
