actually i do. just wanted my desktop to be customized to be a real "personal" computer.
Well, I can tell you from my point of view that WindowBlinds is better than StyleXP because I´m on Windows98 :) So I can use WindowBlinds but not StyleXP ;)

I think this would be an option for a lot of users too. Not everybody is on XP.
money for a Dll hack?............I think not.........but aside from that, WB´s adds so much more functionality, I say it´s a no brainer..... ;)
Well, to sum up the differences:

The reason that every site doesn´t have StyleXP themes is 3 fold.

1. StyleXP is relatively new. After all, it wasn´t brought about until the advent of WinXP.
2. There is a certain amount of controversy over the way that StyleXP works.
3. It only works with the XP OS. (That limits it to a smaller amount of users - especially since the XP OS is so "hardware" demanding compared to previous versions of Windows)

The reason that there are a lot of skins for WB:

1. Windowblinds has been around for a LONG time.
2. Windowblinds works on older versions of Windows, so skins made can be shared with old and new versions.
3. You can even use the UNREGISTERED version of WB. The only difference is that certain features (like skinned scroll bars) can only be used with the registered version.
