Skinning programs for WinAMP are guaranteed to make crappy skins.

Don´t use them...or if you do, just don´t upload them.

Templates are available if you need help that way, but PSP or PhotoShop is all you need...even MSPaint will do.

StyleSkin is the only one that I´ve messed with. I never did get anything good out of the Winamp template. You also have to register it or everything you do comes out with ´UNREGISTERED´ stamped all over it.

If you want to check it out their at:

http://www.pollensoftware.com/styleskin/news.html

Quickskin - http://www.greenbaize.demon.co.uk/qSkin.html

Choose the ´Buttons only´ option with your own graphic and the program cuts and dices your skin for you. It does not skin the AVS window or the MiniBrowser window, but they are easy :)

Freeware too.

Thanks for this link ScareBear. I now have a bunch of WinAmp Skins in work.

I´ve got to jump back to the beginning of this thread though and agree with Jafo. These skins are not ready for PrimeTime. The minimalist one´s only need a little tweaking, but some need major work. Luckily I´ve got the tools for that. :D
