There is a scruffy looking character called Scarebear in the cartoon ´Yogi´s Space Race´ (so I´m told) and when I used to ride my motorcycle to college with my long hair out the back, I used to look like him apparently :D So other students started calling me Scarebear back in ´90 and it´s stuck since :)

My nick comes from the old web. When I first started on the web not all the english bowser and e-mail client accepted the special characters in my name "Bérubé". So it became BruB quickly with e-mail replies.

I LOVE that movie tooooooo. Smokey & the Bandit is awesome! Me likes big trucks. :) LOL I picked the nickname "Chickie" cuz I thought it was cute. Also, I can pick any icons I want. LOL

luci is shorten for luciash :D seriously, i choosed my nick a long time ago when i was dedicated to Blaxxun´s VRML Colony City (Cybertown nowadays) and Active Worlds community. It was my first need for nick to register as user and so i had to create some nick quickly. allmost everything was already claimed (my real name is lukas - lucas or luke in english if you like) and i finally got an idea to choose "luciash" (i had feeling i heard it somewhere... in some fairytale?). these nice ppl at blaxxun´s community started to call me luci (it´s shorter and they didn´t know how to pronounce luciash :) ). today i´m using luci officially as my nick, cause it´s short (again) and surprisingly to me it´s almost every time still not occupied for registration. (BTW: actually if i would be born as a girl, my parents wanted give me girl name lucie - what is lucy in english! LOL )

hi guy lol lol ...... to me your icon seems to look like a lovely lady wrapped in a scarf, but its hard to tell with the water ripples and also luci in English is a girl´s name, but fanny in English also is different in Aussie lingo lol lol I guess thats what makes the world go round :-)

yeah /chichigirl46: :) but you can believe it´s originally me. i took photo of me with sunglases, played with masks and some filters in GIMP and this is the result! yes it looks exactly how you described it and even i can´t recognize myself in it; but i like it very much! (btw: in english afaik it should be lucy - the girl´s name i mean) :D

he he he you can not always count on the English language being the way it should, but luci, lucy, and in the Engish language if you want to spell it like lusee or lucee beleive me they´ll do it........ but look at the song by Johnny Cash, a boy named Sue :-) They say the English language is one of the hardest to learn, I think I agree, a word most of the time is never spelt like it sounds lol

Heh, in Holland everybody thinks he/she can do the scandinavian tongue... lots of knackebrød impersonators... no arguing Johhny Cash rules, though. Guess it all depends on the ratio of relatedness of languages. My dutch keeps me out of trouble mostly. The way I see scandinavian people online talk (snow not incorporated), can´t be that far off, sounds pretty natural to me. Try japanese...

I´ve got my tools al ready for Scandinavian: ð, Ð, þ and Þ are all geared up to go!

As for Japanese... learning all that Kanji is going to take me forever...

I am half Indian, or Native American if you prefer......my friends call me Wolf, but I thought that nick might have negative conotations online. So, I decided I would used the TRUE name of my fathers tribe. The tribe is known as the Coushatta, but the actual name is Koasati, which means "Lost Tribe".
