Hey guys.. I will put up a ´How To´ page on skinbase explaining the whole publishing process, just gimme a few, we are kinda busy elsewhere right now :/
"How To" what we need wallpapers for how to positions?...... and........."gimme a few" were kinda busy right now, elsewhere?..... we have to demostrate in person :-) ok ok ok I can wait....... i´m never in no hurry lol
oooouch, that did not sound nice....... erase erase erase previous post, some times my fingers are faster then my brain :-(
I ike it when ya talking ´tough´ Chichi lol Oki, ´electronic file´ is the file that you submit to PP for printing and eventually sale to the public. Because we cater for almost any size prints, we recommend artists supply us with images in appropriate sizes which will also reduce the image handling time and keep the print prices low. The ´challenge´ we have now, is to devise a system where users will be able to upload ´large´ images directly to PP and only regular wallpaper resolutions on skinbase. For example, if someone submits a wallpaper the size of an Extra Large print.. the image size will often be 10800x7200 pixels in 300 Dpi and around 300 MB´s. I said it´s a ´challenge´, not a ´problem´. The facilities we provide now, are Ftp upload of large images directly to PP Publishing (upon request) or we will accept corresponding images burned on the CD and mailed through the post.
Whoa, it would take me 8+ hours to upload an image that size wit a sluggy connection as I have, good thing you have the cd option
woooo hooooo an all nighter lol
OMG........ splat, I didn´t see the 300MB....... holy shmoly, me crawls on all fours and quitely sneaks out lol
