Themebar 2.1 Preview

hmm well I only run wb when I&acute;m dissconnected from work (cuz I have software conflicts) but I&acute;ve never had probs w/ running wb & themebar together as a matter of fact I think it creates the perfect atmosphere cuz you can mix everything just the way you want it and &quot;everything&quot; becomes skinned... <BR>to be honest I don&acute;t know how web blinds is but I&acute;ve read it has come along way, I only use Themebar on my machines cuz it&acute;s all I&acute;ve ever tried and I like it (I&acute;m a creature of habit) <BR>but again I only throw the skinnable stuff on when I&acute;m goofing off and checking things out I don&acute;t run wb and/or themebar 24/7

Hey thanks a bunch /creaonics: for the link, very helpfull, now me just has to find the terms of the buttons for use in html....... I like the flexabilty of putting the buttons anywhere, and using the animation....... I have three webpanels done but for some reason the animated progress bar I&acute;m having trouble lol Thanks again, unzips sangria :-)

Yes I read the interview and thanks for that link :-) I use to have themebar when it was free and the BIG icon toolbar came out in beta, but caused me back then an Explorer error and shut me down too much, so it has come a long way..... There is just not many skins out there! I hope Eric can find what is causing it soon, I would love to make skins for this, I have made a couple of the webpanel, but I&acute;m hung up on the animated &quot;progress bar&quot; I haven&acute;t been able to figure out what I&acute;m doing wrong..... It sure beats anything out there :-) <BR> <BR>well if you find out its fixed before me, don&acute;t forget to tell me too........ Thanks Doreen

yes eric will def need to fix that, cuz that &quot;was&quot; what made Themebar so cool, was you could choose what wb and what themebar went together perfectly! <BR>I usually ran Paxxy&acute;s iWin and Skewed bar together, yesterday I had on the treetogs woody wb, and paxxy&acute;s skewed bar for themebar.

Hmm you&acute;re right, I run Themebar and skin the bg w/ a black gradient when wb is off, <BR>since I use XP I forget sometimes to throw on my wb&acute;s <BR>when I run Themebar w/ wb the bg does not skin but I wonder if you can change that in the wb settings by taking off the button options? I&acute;ll play around w/ that tonight... <BR> <BR>anyways if you checked out that link I posted to the old interview w/ them you can see that wb and themebar &quot;did work together&quot; before and I used to mix and match my themes up but again, I only put my wb on when I&acute;m &quot;not&quot; working cuz of software probs and stuff, let me know when eric does the fix please

yeah /Elwin: it seems like if your not in agreement, or have some program problems don&acute;t say anything........ but when I have been complimenting about a program, no comments of interest there lol

doreen, you have WXP Home Edition or Professional? on XP home edition running just the themebar &quot;skin&quot; and it skins ALL of your background with &quot;wblinds&quot; on????? I can run the &quot;webpanel&quot; with no problem, but just using &quot;skins&quot; with wblinds on won&acute;t skin the background....... Eric says they&acute;ll try to fix the bug.........

hmmm well just looking at the ss, you guys really imporved the control panel for the options it was needing help there... <BR>that looks more user friendly!

But I&acute;ll bite my tongue for now on what I&acute;m thinking............

I&acute;ll give you one guess why it won&acute;t skin the background............... ? On WXP Home Edition with Windowblinds off and Themebar works great, put wBlinds back on and Themebar won&acute;t skin the backgrounds, go figure...........

Thanks /Doreen: I know I&acute;ll like it cause I already skinned a webpanel with flowers lol webpanel seems a little hard to do but in time I&acute;ll get the hang of it...... as for skinning the classic background is simple but still can not get it to skin the IE background, but yet the webpanel is just fine for IE......... Eric emailed me and asked for the screenshots again, but no answer yet.........

I&acute;m running 2.0 as well, but mine skins everything I&acute;m running a black gradient bg and paxxy&acute;s colorful Skewed bar icons and even my throbber is skinned <BR> <BR>Outlook is skinned too, I&acute;ll see if I can contact these guys later on w/ you too, but I cant right now though, maybe tonight <BR>you&acute;ll love this chichigirl, I really do!

I download version 2.0 thats all thats availble and it won&acute;t skin the IE browser at all for WXP, it will change the toolbar icons, webpanel and the logo but won&acute;t skin the background........ 2. problem is it don&acute;t skin all of the outlook express background, just skins the lower half only........... :-( so I pay for it thinking because not a register user, same problems :-( me unhappy, the screen shots for the version 2.1 look great but no download link for it, I emailed support for the problems along with screen shots, like 5 hours ago and no answer....... also asked for the download for this new version v2.1 no answer :-(
