Ok..., Actually Imtoomuch asked this about 2 weeks ago to me BruB... :-). But I think Im gonne make the following thing: <BR> <BR>NAME: <BR>PKAlarm or PKTimer or PKAlert or PK(whatever) <BR> <BR>DESCRIPTION: <BR>A timer that does &acute;things&acute; when the alarm is triggered: <BR>Triggers: Countdown or pre-set-time <BR> <BR>LAYOUT: <BR>A display with the alarm time / countdown time. <BR>A button to choose between Countdown or pre-set-time <BR>A button to start and stop the timer. <BR> <BR>Click-down will drag the program to the desired place <BR>Right-click will show the popup menu with options like: Exit, Options, About etc. <BR> <BR>Fully freeform skinnable. With animated buttons, it will use normal fonts (not skinnable like winamp) <BR> <BR>ALARM OPTIONS: <BR>shutdown windows <BR>play a wav sound <BR>play a cd <BR>start a program <BR> <BR> <BR>Maybe I will add some more options, or remove a couple that are a in this list.

So I can set the timer for 15 minutes and it will play an alarm. I don&acute;t want to have to set the clock time when I want it to ring. I hope that makes sense. Does this app exist?

If you&acute;re still looking for more feature ideas... How about the ability to define some frequently used countdowns? Then I could have one named Import Beer, which would be about 15 minutes - just long enough for an imported beer to get nice and cold in the freezer without exploding. I could also have one called Domestic Crap, which would be about 30 minutes - just long enough for a domestic beer to get so cold that you can&acute;t taste how bad it is.

You haven&acute;t even seen it bugz! :-) About your suggestions: Im keeping the program simple, no calender and such, just one alarm at the time. sorry bugz! About the option to loop the wav,.. thats in :-) <BR> <BR>LOL ChiChi, but he&acute;s not the only BaseHead that dont uses the OFF buton on his PC....

I have to say I like pkAlert. You know I think it would be cool if it had a popup calendar....not the whole calendar though....maybe just something that has the day with a list of things to do....or shows plans for the week... so when you go to turn off the alarm there&acute;s a message waiting for you....With my job I often forget the day of the week so that would come in handy for us with rotating schedules...
