it´s really not a problem with me if it gives back. and like you said, after all it´s pretty much targeted at the right place.
As far as the banner ads are concerned?
I think it´s a GREAT idea!
After all, we have banners already - that´s a fact of life.

So to have banners specific to skinnable software, and especially to the the software you´re already "window shopping" for is perfect in my book.
I mean, at least it isn´t a banner for some "dating" service...
{:p
Aren´t you looking for someone Elwin?
Gee, you actually art targeting the correct demographic? You must be mad! That´s so crazy, it just might work! Careful though, this might catch on. >;]
What else to say then: LOL
Careful, BruB.
Remember - your lady is in love with my voice...
LOL
you guys do what you gotta do to keep things going, besides:

Banners = No problem

but

Pop ups = Argh!!! Help! I´m being attacked!!!!!!!

banners I think most of us are all use to by now and understand the reason behind them, to be honest I think they are invisable to most of us that have been around the skinning community long enough... =/
(atleast I never really notice them "unless of course they begin talking! then that´s a diff story... hehe
tex, text, text, they rather hear me speak!!!!!!

Bad memories!
Maybe you should add something like "Buy RadLight and help Skinbase" into the banner´s hint ... ;)

As there is also the totaly freeware version of RadLight (which is in no way limited regarding the skins) I do not expect hundreds of people purchasing it via Skinbase ads (even if they are perfectly targeted :D )
I think Doreen made an excellent point there. I rarely notice ads now. I did notice that one BruB mentions. I remember going over that ad the first time.... "What the!?!" :D

And popups are evil. I use a popup stopper that gets most of them.

I´ll ask gRAVE about the suggestive text too DAvenger :)
